This post relates to the protests in Egypt. About 2 weeks ago Friday, Christians and others not observing the Islamic Sabbath formed a human chain around the worshiping Muslims in the middle of the protesting areas so that they could pray safely. See the NY Daily News article.
Today I heard a story about Egypt.
A group of people made a human chain around another group, to protect them from getting hurt by the riots.
What made this story amazing was that that chain was made up of Christians, and they were protecting a group of Muslims so that they could pray safely.
Accepting each other, no matter what religion, GMH.

To see that there are people out there who care about their fellow man, no matter is religion is great. Islam is not a satanic religion; all Muslims are not inherently evil. To see the Egyptian Christians (who by the way were protected in the same fashion by the Muslims for their Christmas celebrations - see this article) caring so much about their fellow citizen simply because they share the same nationality makes you wonder how such a fear would go over in this country.
Something to ponder: why not afford everyone the same respect? Jesus and Muhammad were more similar than most think. Islam and Christianity share the same basic principles. We really are not that different.
